Ja'nar is known for being very nice, if not a bit reserved when in public. Her personality changes depending on what the day brings. At times she can be the happy, bubbly girl next door that people are just drawn to. At other times a dark cloud hangs over her.

History
Ja'nar born to a life of privilage. At the time of her birth, her Uncle Naor was the current ruler of Garos IV. Ja'nar had everything she could ever want except the one thing her heart wanted the most. A real family. Her family was being torn apart by scheming. Her mother, Emi, was the palace whore, with a new man every other week, sometimes two at a time. Ja'nar stood by watching her mother self destruct, soon Emi would be on spice and glitterstym, pushing her daughter further away.

Uncle Naor thought it would be best if Ja'nar left the influences of royal life and sent her to boarding school after boarding school. She would get into fight trying to defend her mother who would show up in the papers day after day with her outings on the town. By the time Ja'nar was fourteen she had finished school, getting a degree in political science. She returned home.

It wasn't long until things at home began to unravail even more. Her cousins had come to live with them, and with that came more plotting. By this point Ja'nar had no positive male role models in her life and tried desperately to get attention from anyone who would give it to her. Her mother continued to push her away, until finally Emi committed suicide hurling herself off the side of a cliff.

Ja'nar quickly became what she didn't want to be. She became her mother falling into the depths of depression, using drugs to keep the lonliness away, and finding companion ship with any man who would give it to her.

One man saved her from destroying herself. Bernard Oriel. Bernard and Ja'nar's family had been friends if only on a political level. He took a special interest in the beautiful young woman who had as a child wanted to be a senator to rule her home planet for him to gain more of a footing within the Republic.

But again things came undone as Bernard began to become more distance and astranged from his wife. After far too long of this Ja'nar filed for divorce from her husband on grounds of abondonment. Ja'nar is now making her own path in the Republic and in her life. Who knows what the future holds for her.
