As the chair of the newly-founded Imperial Loyalist Committee, it has fallen to me to select the initial members that will comprise the committee. You are the first in my list of assured candidates, which I have compiled during my time away from the Senate. Let me stress this now; this is not a final composition, and there will be others selected for consideration. That, however, is something for us to vote upon as a group, rather than trusting to the opinion of one. Also, should any Senator approach any of you regarding a position in the committee, they should be assured that they haven't been overlooked, and that the rest of the committee is still being formed.

I have chosen you primarily for your unwavering loyalties to the Empire based on my own assessment, and though each of you has no doubt had a difference of opinion on occasion, that is exactly the point. Some issues which are raised drag on for too long with arguments passing back and forth, so it is my opinion that a group comprised of varied individuals will be able to present an equally varied, compromising and decisive solution.

With that being said, I will leave it to you to consider your replies. None of you are in any way obliged to agree to a position within the committee, and none of your loyalties will be called into question should you refuse. However, for those that are willing to participate, a meeting will be established after Life Day festivities have come to an end, and the new business year begins.
