Forgive me for being so assuming as to contact you directly, but I cannot help noticing the difficulties Volus has been having lately. Between the issues involving Vjun, pirate attacks and your prize vessel's problems with weaponry and the Senate, it seems as if Volus has put itself on the radar as undesirable in some ways.

Sluis Van's shipyards are prepared to offer to Volus at a 45% discount rate our latest vessel design, fully in compliance with the laws of the Imperial Senate and more agile and versatile than the current minor capital vessels utilized by Volus.

Senator, I have little issue with you contacting me though for matters such as this Senator Star would be a much closer and easier route to take.

As it stands, unfortunately, we have already made recent acquisitions in relation to ships and while I would not be adverse to looking into some of your newer designs, it would be somewhat imprudent to place another order at this time. However, if Sluis Van were interested in helping us meet some of our new needs we would be more than happy to employ your ship yards at the stated discount rate.

Forgive the presumption, I simply assumed that Senator Star would be less than willing to consider such a purchase. As such, I go to the head of Volus rather than the neck, so to speak.

Needless to say Senator Star acts in the benefits of both the empire and Volus however, that is not truly pertinent to this conversation.

We are currently in the market for a standard space station. If Sluis Van were able to provide us with details of such we would very likely give deep consideration to buying from your ship yards. Below I will include some of our needs with this station, if you have something that would it our needs let me know.

List of needs and requirement:

Large hanger bay able to accommodate several 150 meter long vessels, up to 3 squadrons of fighters, as well as various shuttles and 2 sprint-class shuttles.

Room for crew and various standard standard repair and upkeep equipment.

Shield generator with at least 300 SBD
