Mr. Motour,

I have taken the liberty of contacting Admiral Corvus of my intentions and I am informing you as well. Your recent problem with pirates has drawn the eye of certain agencies within the Empire. I understand that it has been a difficult time for you and your people but I must ask you to bear with the Imperial Navy a bit longer.

A company of troops is being dispatched to Volus under the command of Captain Gareth Proul. They will be quartered in the Volusian Royal Palace and I shall be joining them as quickly as possible. These soldiers are for your safety and will protect you from anything the pirates may attempt. I look forward to meeting you Mr. Motour.
