I hope that this letter finds you well and in good health. I apologize for the hour and the manner of delivery, but I felt that discretion was best. Electronic forms of communication tend to not be as secure as they once were, despite high levels of encryption. I am sure that you understand.

My sincerest apologies for not writing you sooner, but I left Imperial Center in such a hurry that I did not manage to get communications out to anyone that I should have. I've come to Naboo to handle some business of a personal nature involving my family. The attention that it would have drawn on Imperial Center would have been too much, and likewise with Chandrila. The Lake Country here is so beautiful and serene and there is not another building that I can see for miles. It is the perfect place to retreat when one does not wish to be found immediately.

The matter that I am here to deal with requires my utmost attention and needs to be handled completely discreetly. I have no doubt that you understand a need for privacy, but I did not feel right being here without at least communicating with you about it. I hope to not run into any sort of media attention or frenzy, as well as any Imperial interference. Despite what some on Imperial Center think, I feel that a private life is important to keep separate from a professional life in the Senate Rotunda.

Also, I was hoping that before I return to Imperial Center we could possibly have a meeting in person. I have a few things that I would like to discuss with you in private. Do you think that you would be able to work a short, and very casual meeting into your schedule? I understand that you are very busy, but I do hope that we will be able to come to some sort of arrangement.
