Senator,

I am pleased to see you address an issue as important as accessable, pediatric medical care in your recent proposal. With the recent amendments made to the proposal, I am in complete support of it and I will see to it that the surplus ships you've requested for your organization will be provided to you as soon as your proposal is passed, which, I hope, will be as soon as possible. However, there is some other Senate business that remains unfinished, and I think we would all like to see concluded before we conclude other, later proposals, such as yours. I refer, namely, to Representative Vanden's proposal to form a committee to investigate (again) the destruction of Caamas. I have made clear my position on this measure, and the position of His Majesty, that it is a measure that indulges in conspiracist fantasies and, in so doing, disrespects those who died at Caamas.

If you could be persuaded to share this opinion, vote against Representative Vanden's measure, and encourage your colleagues to do the same, it will hasten the closure of that vote so that we may then proceed to closing the vote on your proposal too, which is what we would both like to see happen as soon as possible. Do consider it, Senator. Think of the children.

Regards.

Grand Vizier,

I appreciate your support on this proposal, and your offer to assist with obtaining the de-commissioned ships. Children are, of course, the future and deserve the very best care that we can give to them. I am sure that you and His Majesty the Emperor understand the importance of this.

I understand your reservations to Senator Vanden's proposal to investigate Caamas. I, too, hold the same reservations to a point. Justice should be served, but those who died should be left in peace.

Sincerely,

Ilanah R. Thanatos
