Lieutenant Rice, I am not sure that I have enough information to be able to judge the character of a man. It was a brief, and unnecessary meeting, after all. My first impression of the Dark Whispers was that it was an unorganized crew with absolutely no knowledge of Imperial protocol. The lack of modern uniforms and regulation is disconcerting at best.
In Captain Deamora's defense, Lieutenant, he did retreat from Alurion to save the lives of the Sentients that are a part of his crew, and that does hold some merit in my book. The lack of regard for civilian life is bothersome. That does not necessarily indicate his ability to lead, as I have yet to witness that for myself and until I do, I reserve the right to hold further judgment.
Should I notice anything else during the remainder of this mission, I will contact you immediately. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Captain B. Nelia
