It has been highlighted to me that in the recent past comments have been made on many debates in the Senate, but particularly on the Raioballo Sector Act which are injurious to the people and good reputation of our world. Despite these comments, filled as they are with a vicious bile against the world of your birth, you have shown no intention to defend our people.
Thus I must (Unless you promise a radically more robust approach to defending Dantooine from such calumny in the Senate) offer you my resignation. I must hesitate to say that this offer is non-negotiable, the people of Dantooine deserves a Militia General who can fully endorse the policy of the Administrator, the Militia General deserves a Senator who is to speak in the defense of Dantooine, instead of allowing it to be humiliated in such a public manner.
We are one of the major exporters of Agricultural products to the Core, we are a world which works hard to do this. Perhaps we are a backwater in regard to other worlds, but that is no excuse for you to adopt what has been called a "city slicker" attitude by the Dantooine Media in your handling of criticism of Dantooine in the Senate. Dantooine is a world which fought loyally with the Galactic Republic and has been loyal to the Galactic Empire, a proud world with a long history, it deserves better than to be slandered without its Senator rising to its aid.
It has been suggested by many that you agree with these criticisms of Dantooine and its folk ways, regardless of whether this is the case, as Senator of Dantooine you owe a duty to the people of Dantooine to be their advocate to the Imperial Senate and I hope you will be more diligent and fastidious when speaking in Dantooine's honour in future.

Am I to take your speech, while controversial, in favour of the honour of Dantooine was an indication of a wish to retain my services and to defend our honour from the cads in the Senate who would impugn it?
