Governor Mercutio, I wish to congratulate you upon your recent electoral victory. It is truly unfortunate the circumstances which necessitated the election, however, and I send my personal condolences regarding Sio Bibble. He may have clashed with the Empire, but he was an honorable man, whom dedicated his life to the service of his people, which is to be admired in any being. He will be missed... he was someone I was looking forward to meeting, one day.
On to business, we must meet in person some day. I would hope it to be over dinner. I don't believe Fort Spearhead however, to be the appropriate venue. While I prepare to retire for the evening, before doing so, I rode one of the local mounts, a Kaadu, around the area outside Theed. Truly beautiful country side you have here. I noticed an abandoned structure to the north of Theed's outskirts, nestled into along the beach of a lake and into the side of a large hill. Unless it would be too difficult, I would like to convert the property into an estate to be used as a state house by myself and any future Military Governor of Naboo. Governor Mercutio, while I understand that the first week in office can be hectic and fast-paced, and certainly a time in which one requires much of their time to adjust, I was hoping this would be a simple issue, not one that required over four days of consideration. General Relius,
It saddens me that my manner of response to your message did not meet with your satisfaction. Upon receipt of your message, however, I did you the courtesy of submitting on your behalf the requisite forms to the Reclamation Commission. To do anything more than this, i.e. to influence the decision of the commissioners re: your personal estate, would be an abuse of power. However, you should be aware that the work of the Reclamation Commission is on hold this week until I appoint a new chair, and its commissioners are on leave until I do so. I ask for your patience, as my time this week has been occupied with the appointment of Ministers of Agriculture, Education, etc. These positions are of more concern to the people of Naboo than the Reclamation Commission, and I must honor the concerns of the people before the personal interests of an Imperial General.
With re: to a meeting, however, I would be delighted. I will ask Her Highness to invite you to a dinner at the Royal Palace this week, so that we may all become acquainted.

Governor Mercutio, obviously, I am new to Naboo and unacquainted with the particulars of the local government. I apologize if any toes have been stepped on, if you pardon the folk expression, however I figured this would be a matter that easily be settled by yourself or the Queen, without any abuse of office. If this is the contrary, then I will not push any further on the matter. I would never advocate one to abuse elected office, and will allow things to run their course, I merely hope that it will not take too long. You see, I like to garden, and grow my own food... hunt my own food, it is a preference that is impossible to do so within the confines of Fort Spearhead.
On top of being able to conduct my consumption in a manner I prefer, thus lending a helping hand to conservation on your world, I hate seeing such beautiful land go to waste and such beautiful architecture deteriorate, in absence of a tenant for close to ten years. I also feel that on a world such as this, Fort Spearhead is an unacceptable location for state visits for my office, and as much I'd like to, I simply could not stand functions of state always being on the hand of the Naboo. I appreciate you kick starting the process for me, and while I will watch it as I can, please keep me up to date as possible on this matter, and on the formation of your government.
In regards to our meeting, I will certainly look forward to it. I know you do not like me or my presence, but I believe you will find I am a man you will find friendly, and always willing to work with you, and easy to work with. I merely ask you drop any prejudice of me, my men, and my intentions, as I have in kind, and be open to me and my policies. I await the Queen's invitation.

General Relius,
You misapprehend me. I have no personal animosity for you—I simply find the conflict with the Gungans to be an unfortunate one, as I'm sure you do too. Your presence here is a belligerent one (by definition), but I do not question the utility of it under the circumstances. I have no doubt that we'll be able to work together to assure the defense of Naboo, its people, and property, and as I have said elsewhere, I intend for the RSF to act as partners to your troops in this worthy cause. Let us work out the details of this at dinner, perhaps?
