Troopers, I am Admiral Hines, an attaché to High Command. Your initiative in the pursuit of Kenas Annig on Imperial Center this week has gained you the attention and approval of the Emperor. I'm told he has made the capture of Annig and his accomplice a top priority and you have been selected to participate in an operation to do so. Understand, troopers, that you are to treat all of this with discretion. You have been given a great honor and a great responsibility, and I am writing to you to ask if you are willing and able to accept it. The commander of your squad has been instructed to respect the decision you make, and release you from the 1,001st Brigade on a temporary basis if you do accept.

Fleet Admiral Gregor Hines
Star Destroyer Salient, Amaranth Expeditionary Force, et. al.
Permanent Attaché to High Command

Admiral, I'm honored to have been chosen for this assignment but I'm afraid I have to turn you down, Sir. The medics say I have a concussion and I won't be cleared for duty for three weeks. I don't know what to do with myself for three weeks of medical leave, and while I'd like to be back in the field and help you find this Jedi and his clone accomplice, but the doctor says I need to be monitored and get a lot of rest. If there's any other way I can help though, Sir, I'd happy to oblige.

Indeed, sir; I am also honored that I have been chosen for this assignment. However, like Deece here, I'm afraid I must decline as well - on the grounds that our pursuit of the suspect led to my hand being broken. And, while I want nothing more than to be back in the field and hunting this man down, I can't even hold a blaster straight... much less fire one. The doctor says it will take a month at least for all of the bones to fully heal, that Jedi did a real number on me. Apologies again, sir; much like Deece, I'm willing to help in whatever other ways I can.
