You certainly seem to be living up to your reputation as a fire-starter in the Senate. I must say, your controversial anti-slaving bill has people all up in arms across the Outer Rim; slavers, I might add. If you'll believe it so, one fool actually had the audacity to go and place a hundred thousand credit bounty on your head for it! Ah, well. Kruus is an idealistic moron; a leftover from the Clone Wars and he's of no mind. I would like to say though, that I opposed his bounty. Utter foolishness, my dear man!
Now, to the crux of the matter. I am a businessman, Senator. A businessman who runs a tight and honest business is a good businessman, and as long as the Empire needs slaves, I will be one of those providing such. However, I respect you and the law you wish to pass and, as such, I believe we might do a spot of business. I am willing to release a large number of slaves to you, Senator. All I ask is that you acquire something for me. Are you interested?

I'm interested in putting you out of business along with any other slavers and reprobates who try to fool me into doing favors for them. No, I'm not going to help you do something that's undoubtedly worth more to you in the long run (i.e. more slaves) than the handful you're proposing to release now. I'm not a fool, and if I'm able to do so I intend to find your enterprise, destroy it, and set free all of the slaves whose condition you Sir are responsible for, not I. Furthermore, go to hell.

The Empire, I am sure, would take a very dim view of your operation to put all slavers out of business. While the Empire may not directly aid slavery, I daresay it condones and encourages it for certain operations. Whether or not you aid me in the long run, you do and still might for a time have a chance to save lives now; people who would no doubt thank you in exchange for your aid. Perhaps then at a later date, you would have the option to attempt to find me and destroy my operation. I can assure you though, that even if you destroyed my every last vessel, I would simply rebuild. That is the nature of this galaxy Senator, where a man with a dream can build that dream into his mansion, so to speak.
If you feel strongly enough about this matter, come to Orvax IV in a month or two and we will discuss it.
