Your Excellency, I am currently giving a helping hand in Navy's Central Command, while the Outer Rim Fleet is in dock at Yaga Minor for resupply and shore leave. At Central we have been focusing on the continued upgrading of our fine Navy and planning several R&D projects. I am proud to report also, to you, that the STARFLARE Project will have a prototype available for testing within the next eight standard years, with the following year seeing completion of construction and secure worthiness trials; should everything go to plan, we should have the prototype deployed in public service within a decade. We have also began the SCYTHE Project, which is detailed within the attachment on this message. To be complete, I have also been in charge of all tasking out of Central for the past two months.
Back to operations... should you need the fleet, we can have forces underway within a standard day, and the entire fleet assembled within a standard week; myself personally, I am available to you immediately.
