Please be advised, Sir, that the Senate Commerce Committee has by unanimous vote issued a temporary injunction against trade with Mr. Da'shune's "Independent Hapan" faction, which has apparently taken up residence on your world of Parein II. I would ask that in the interest of enforcing this injunction, you consider placing vessels of the Sarin Sector Fleet in the vicinity to prevent Imperial trading concerns from establishing commercial relations with Mr. Da'shune until the Imperial Ruling Council has resolved the diplomatic status of his faction. These vessels could also be useful in repelling any rebels that may seek to enlist the support of Mr. Da'shune on account of his stated desire for "independence." But, of course, it can be said that the presence of your fleet in the vicinity is purely in the interest of protecting Mr. Da'shune and his people from exploitative trading concerns.
Also, Your Excellency, might I inquire as to the number of Imperial subjects you believe to reside on Parein II (if any)? Be there any, surely their rights as Imperial subjects must be assured despite the presence of Mr. Da'shune who seems, disturbingly, to unilaterally claim to govern this region now.

The population of Parein II is estimated as follows:
Imperial Weather/Astronomical Station CV:99098: 8 Staff
Squatters/Small Farmers: 20-50
Hunters/Fishermen with seasonal homes on Parein II: 200-400
Crashed transport vessel's population who have been granted settlement rights: 97
The total estimated to be present on Parein II as we speak is 455 Imperial Citizens, presently under the rule of the invading Hapans.
I must urge you to lobby as vigarously as possible in support of the cause of the benighted people of Parein II who's very future is now threatened by these foreign invaders stealing their lands and patrimony from them with massive use of force.
