It has come to my attention that the Empire has been harmed. We have been harmed by the actions of Dustil Sushere and his Freedom. We have been harmed by this 'Shiva' and Valin Rall, both Separatists with access to ships of mass destruction. We are beset by enemies that we must refer to bounty hunters and the scum of the galaxy to track down for us. Is this right, Grand Vizier? Should we not do something more; something to inspire the people to believe that we are the shield against such men? It may be out of place, but for the love I bear the Empire, I must speak.
The Abrion Sector is quieted greatly in these past months. Free of pirates and issues alike, especially after the defeat of the Libs at Molavar, I have worked with my tacticians and we have formulated the following idea. I wish to create a task force, comprised primarily of ships and crews from the Abrion Sector and led by newly-promoted Rear Admiral Jeremy Brogan to track down these heinous beings and bring them to justice. The idea has merit, if you will consider it, Grand Vizier.

Indeed, we live in an era in which easy access to weapons of immense destructive potential can mean the deaths of billions of individuals in an instant. Setting aside the danger of these weapons in the hands of Separatists and rebels, even a hyperdrive-equipped bulk freighter of sufficient size can fracture a planet to its molten core. This frightening reality cannot be denied, and it necessitates a Galactic Empire that is liberal both in its policies and in its use of force. The maintenance of order depends very much on the perception of order, however; you will notice that His Majesty in occasions past and even myself in the Senate this evening have assured the people of the Empire's ability to defend its people, planets, and property. It is important, yes, that measures of the sort you describe be taken, but also that statements of the sort you've made here not be made in public. I'm sure you agree, but it bears repeating.
As for the particular measures you've described, there exist already Imperial Fleets for this purpose (the Outer Rim Fleet under Admiral Corvus for instance, and the Amaranth Expeditionary Force under Admiral Hines). These fleets require the support of reconnaissance operations throughout the Empire, however—in all of its sectors, including the Abrion Sector. Thus, the Abrion Sector Fleet is as crucial as any Sector Fleet in the larger security of the Empire, and the Ruling Council has been pleased to see it doing its part. If it is the case, however, that you advocate the promotion of Captain Brogan to an expeditionary fleet, this is something which will be taken into consideration as there's no question that the Captain has distinguished himself nobly.

Jeremy Brogan was recently promoted to Rear Admiral of the Abrion Sector naval forces and indeed, I would advocate his continued promotion to an expeditionary fleet. He shows great promise, Grand Vizier, and I will not be the man to stunt his career. As for the other matters, you have my silence, as always. I would not harm this Empire which I love by word or deed, and my actions are only intended to keep it safe.
