Grand Vizier,
Recently I've had the displeasure of meeting a Senator Ordan, who promptly took it upon himself to begin an investigation into my personnel life, as well as the companies which I have, by law, rightfully purchased. During his unannounced appearance in my office, I was subjected to the Senator's personal attack on my person. I have attached the recordings to this message, one of which openly questions the Emperor's decision in placing me as the Moff of the Cadavine Sector.
Upon the Senators arrival, I spoke with him briefly as I was currently working on ensuring the resupply of the Emperor's Imperial Fleet that was in orbit around Gall. Ordan saw fit to take the time to interfere with my work, as well as refused to leave my office to speak with a Mr. Aaron Fox, the President of the Eos Productions Interstellar Corporation, who is the man that runs the company in my place.

After his refusal to leave, he then proceeded to insult a Moff's person, as well as a Moff's family.

Quote "So the Verilias, crooked as an old stick I hear? But I have been assured you are by far the best of the bunch. But its not really just your company which is under investigation, its yourself Mr Verilia. The name itself is one reviled in many places, and so we must be sure you are not succumbing the the rot which is innate in your bloodline. I breed dogs, and you notice whatever is deficient in the parents is often deficient in the pup. The apple never rots far from the tree as they say."
He proceeded to personally attack my choice in joining the armed forces during the Clone Wars, before he openly questioned the Emperor's choice in placing me in the position as Moff of the Cadavine Sector.
Quote "I do trust you realise the significance of this investigation against you? If you are deemed unsuitable for office you may well be removed.."
He has openly disregarded the fact that he is in a "Conflict of Interest" and has informed myself that he will not be removing himself from this hearing, as according to his personal voice. There is also the fact that this hearing is nothing less than a personal attack upon myself by the Senator. I must also inform the Grand Vizier, that my office has as well begun to prepare their own charges of "Slander" against my person. He has also demanded the codes to the private communications that are used by my office in speaking with Imperial Fleet Command, as well as other Imperial Offices. Upon each time my office informed him that he would only be receiving copies of the documents he demanded from myself, he continued to still demand the codes for the encrypted communications channels that I use. A response to my Office requesting that he remove himself from this hearing on the fact that he is in breach of a conflict of interest, as well as the fact that my office also views this "investigation" as nothing less than a personal vendetta against myself, due to my position, which he has a problem with, as well as the background of my past. I request that the Chair looks into this, as I believe that the Senator has revealed himself to be questioning the duty of the Moffs, as well as questioning the Emperor's decisions, and showing his lack of faith in the Empire, through openly attempting to slander a Moff.

Your frustration with Senator Ordan is understandable, but that the Senator said unkind things to you in the privacy of your office is not within the purview of the Grand Vizier of the Empire. It's also not subject to slander litigation, as the charge of slander applies to statements of this sort that are made in public, not in private and to your face. However, I have forwarded your message to Vizier Covell, who typically handles personnel conflicts on behalf of the Ruling Council. He may or may not be in contact with you on this matter, and I do advise consulting him on such matters in the future.

My office has been gathering information on Senator Ordan, and along with his unannounced arrival in the Cadavine Sector, he proceeded to question the Emperor's choice in appointing me Moff of the Cadavine Sector, due to the Senator's already known prejudice against Cyborgs. Personnel files will reveal that my cyborgs were due to actions taken in the protection of this Empire and it's worlds during the Jedi's failed plans to take over the Republic during the Clone Wars. This subpoena and his investigation into my office and the companies that I own, are nothing less than a vendetta against my person. I would like to see this matter dealt with in the appropriate response, as well as see the Senator's words of questioning the Emperor's decision to be publicly retracted.
