Your Highness
Surely in our hour of need you would not abandon us? I look out from the belltower of our court house and all about the walls of my city I see the pillars of smoke and flame rise from our villages as the forces of the Clans approach. We are strong men, many of us Clone Wars veterans, but we are simply too few to resist the forces amassed against us.
Rumours abound that in every town the Embarilite clans take all the men women and children are murdered. Babies are ripped from the pregnant bellies of women and still you do not defend us. Is this not what your ships and armies are for my Lord? What is a Lord who does not defend his oathmen from attack. Please my Lord, consider your innocent people.
We expect the Clan armies will be at our walls tomorrow. We believe that perhaps we can hold them at the walls for some time for they are poorly equipped with armor needed to blast them down. If your help does not come, I have no doubt that you will be allowing our town to be slaughtered, with the loss of 23,000 Ethnic Cronese lives. You speak fine words about seeking to protect us but you do not act! Even if we wished to leave Embaril we could not do so, we do not have ships.
If we do die, it shall bring ignominy to your House. Every man who pays you homage will learn that his Lord does not honour his oaths. They will know that their Lord would leave them to die for political expediency. Perhaps on our grave there will be witten "Go tell the Cronese, Stranger passing by, that here, Obedient to their wishes, we lie." My family has ever been loyal to the House of Cron, I am sorry to see that our service and loyalty evidently means nothing to you.Added (26 Oct 2011, 8:07 PM)

Lord,
My people are dead. All who escaped were two score aboard my freighter. I will avenge myself on the Embarilites in time, if it is your will.
Myself, 12 retainers and 27 women and children. I would like to request asylum in the Cronese Mandate and regretfully must accept your offer of citizenship.
Yours Sincerely,
