| Sirs,
My crew and I have been idle since the last mission that you dispatched us to. I would like to respectfully request to return to Dantooine. If you recall, I was there in recent months to assess the planets security and defense needs. I offered to remain with the Impavid in orbit until such time that their planetary defenses were in place. Now I have heard across the holo that a warship from Deralia has entered the system. I would like to be there just in case we are needed, for nothing more than to reassure the Senator and his people until more is needed.
We are, as always, awaiting your orders.

Captain, I had hoped the regional commanders would have included your vessel into the local patrol shifts. It is unfortunate that such an asset was not utilized in in notable efforts, such as combating piracy and smuggling. Their error does bring us an opportunity however. I am temporarily placing you under my direct command, and transferring your vessel into the Outer Rim Fleet.
Your request is accepted.
Make to Dantooine with all possible speed, but ensure you are completely provisioned and combat ready. Your orders, while this Deralia-Dantooine crisis carries on, is to ensure the safety of Senator Ray. Nothing else matters. I repeat, Captain, nothing... else... matters. Once that comes to pass, you are ordered to investigate, and end, any and all piracy and smuggling in the system, as well as investigate these claims of terrorists operating out of the Dantooine system, and if possible, eliminate them. Focus on space based forces, as I'm convinced anything surface based will be taken care of soon, one way or another.

Admiral, I hope you've put some thought into sending the Impavid to Dantooine and that you know what you're doing. In confidence, I can't help but doubt some of the instruction you've provided to its captain. To assign her to protect the ruler of the planet and additionally declare (twice) that "nothing else matters" is odd considering the Ruling Council has expressed strict neutrality on this matter. The most prudent course of action would be to have the Impavid in the vicinity of Dantooine in a strictly observational role, if any. I certainly see no justification to plant a single Imperial boot on Dantooine, of all places and at this of all times. My reading of the Ruling Council is that it doesn't want the Empire to take any action that could be seen as supportive of either side in this dispute and opening communication with Dantooine and protecting its ruler can be easily misconstrued.
As you "got to this one first," so to speak (the Salient has been in hyperspace), I defer to your decision. But at the very least it seems some mention should be made to the captain of the Impavid of the Empire's neutrality in this affair and, additionally, a caution to be on the look out for rebel ships operating in the periphery of the system, as we observed them to do in the recent Alurion incident (the aggressors in that incident never having been identified, and quite possibly being the same ones responsible for the recent Riaoballo Sector-based terrorist incidents).

Admiral, my orders to Captain Nelia were not in regards to his standing as the head of state of Dantooine, but as an Imperial Senator. The only reason the Captain would need to intervene is if fighting broke out and Senator Ray's life was in danger. Seeing that the situation has defused itself, the Captain should be falling into her secondary orders to investigate possible terrorist groups in the region. The order set given to the Captain has great benefit possible to us, and is in line with most of our Outer Rim operations. I am certain that Captain Nelia's orders are in line with the Ruling Council, and follow their wishes. If not, then I am sure they will inform me of such.
