Do forgive my presumption and lack of manners but not including your name in the invitation to Lorrd. You have been absent from the Senate for so long that many of the aides I spoke with assumed you would not be returning. Happily, that is not the case. I hope you will forgive me use of your given name, seeing as we only know one another formally. The rumor mill runs quickly, and it says, perhaps unreliably so, that you have been spotted on Imperial Center? If this is true, perhaps I might beg an indulgence of you? I depart for Imperial Center within an hour to take care of a few things, perhaps you would be so good as to meet with me over a drink? It would be pleasant to know at least one senator outside the formal world before my party.
