| To: The Procurator of Justice Subject: Injunction to Temporarily Delay the Deralian Chastisement Act
Your Honor, My client, the Kingdom of Deralia, has hired my firm to temporarily halt the Deralian Chastisement Act, while they consider all possible courses of action and investigate the legal validity of the legislation. I can provide a full list of appropriate grievances if your honor wishes.

| Mr Ziering,
As the Senior Imperial Justice regarding Senatorial Legislation (where this Act was passed) I have been requested to prepare a dossier for His Worship the Procurator of Justice on this matter.
I would appreciate you airing your grievances to me, most specifically in which regard this Act is illegitimate. I should remind you that simply because an Act is prejudicial to the interest of your world is not considered a valid reason for an injunction. The court would require specific and compelling evidence of a procedural problem and or a breach of Imperial law in order to obstruct the imposition of Senate legislation.
Furthermore, I would like to express that the court notes the fact that Deralia has failed to bring this "injustice" to light only after it is past the due date for a fine - and that it did not express any reservations either during the passage of the legislation (despite Deralia being given the floor to do so) nor immediately after it passed. Any justification for this inactivity would be weighed favourably by the court.
Yours sincerely,
Judge Alexi Huw-Fogg
Associate Justice of the Imperial Supreme Court Keeper of the Rolls for the Procurator of Justice
