To the Government and People of the Cronese Mandate,

We are astonished that your state propaganda paper has taken the step of launching an unveiled partisan attack on the attempt we have made to help improve your rights and liberties. It is astonishing that Senator Goodchild and your King has attempted to politicize entrenching and strengthening your rights. The arguments made against this are that you already have the rights, what I have sought to do is protect those rights with another layer of Imperial legislation which prevents any from taking your liberties away. I am truly saddened at this low blow and that seeking to protect your rights has been attacked by your Government, and I wish every Cronese citizen the very best.

As my legislative record makes clear, I have no personal prejudice against the Cronese Mandate (an odd charge to be leveled when I am seeking to defend your rights). I was a leading critic of Senator Zarcaine (a man caught out lying to the Senate, preaching treason and involved in his corrupt uncle's dealings) but never upon the people of the Mandate themselves, who I think have suffered much under an unelected King.

I would also like to congratulate you on the good fortune of your gold find. But I must also caution you that such gifts from providence cannot be counted on, and any improvements seen as a result of this find are as a result of fortune, not good governance. I hope your government will spend this fund wisely and not fritter it away, Vjun made a discovery some time ago of a large sum of rare metals, but we have taken the steps of trickling the money into the economy in a sustainable way, rather than splashing it around - we trust your government will do the same.

As for Vjun, it is a democratic system where a legislature holds all the power, unlike the Cronese Mandate. Vjun does not have Kings and is ruled by it's people, not by a single family. As explained repeatedly even the poorest in Vjunite society have broad rights which protect them in a similar way to this proposed new Mandate. The Governance of Vjun is not the prerogative of it's Senator, and the decision of the Parliament as to reform is not his to make. It should be added that I have always been a champion of reform and economic growth, recently bringing hundreds of jobs to our world.

Yours sincerely

Due to a minor error and break down of equipment, only part of the following message was broadcasted to the Government and People of the Cronese Mandate. Immediately after due to other messages being jumbled and data becoming corrupted, the node that the message, along with others that had passed through it, was shut down for maintenance.

It's not for you to auto spatial anomalies which selectively censor messages to say what you want. If you want to say "The Mandate edited the released version" then do so, but don't make up magical space forces to edit messages.))

Gilbert would assure that CBC got a copy of the proper version. An attempt at Cronese censorship was much suspected, but by the crude nature of the edits it was apparent that this was a setup from Robeir XXII. The Imperial Security Bureau was contacted to investigate the matter in detail.

The message (as with email) had a protocol in it so that it could not be delivered in a fragmented manner, it would simply show up as undelivered. Once the "communications problem" was fixed the correct version was sent, via the Imperial Holonet.
