While I am no large political figure on Lorrd, I wished to write you for the ends of a visit to the Cronese Mandate before I stop at Dantooine and, afterwards, Empress Teta. I wished to converse with yourself and perhaps other ministers regarding the recent proposal of GalacticAid that passed in the Senate, as well as a few other matters that need concern only you and I and that I would not wish be privy to prying eyes; these days, it seems far too many naysayers have their hands in the Mandate; an unfortunate turn of events. I foresee that I shall be heading for the Mandate in a few days' time. Do write me back before than, if you'd be so king.

| To the Office of Senator Goodchild,
I understand fully that the Senator is a busy man, and that the concerns and greater welfare of the Cronese Mandate far outweighs the wishes of one man who is not even a citizen. Nonetheless, my journey does take me to the Mandate for a brief time, so I can only hope that at that point, he will agree to meet with me.
