The Cronese Mandate deployed a Nebulon-B Frigate to our system today, claiming an intention to "deliver" medical supplies and to "evacuate" the Cronese. These are duties which could be adequately carried out by a freighter. We would like to note that this was not the intention of the Cronese. After being intercepted and repeated entreaties to leave our space, the Cronese vessel took the wise decision and chose to leave.
We should note that a Nebulon-B is only able to carry 75 passengers, and is so completely unsuitable as an evacuation vessel, furthermore it is an armed frigate and so unsuitable for use as a "medical aid" ship.Added (31 Jan 2012, 0:15 AM)

It should be stated that the Cronese Mandate vessel was given the option of remaining at the edge of our system if it wished to distribute aid or take people off. However, as a government which has stated intentions to invade our world, we are not comfortable with it keeping armed ships in orbit. Civilian shuttles are running out of Caluula City space port as normal and if people wish to leave tickets are for sale - however, the characterization that they would wish to leave is wrong.

Further to this report, I would like to announce that an organized band of armed men is attacking my forces from within the Cronese Quarter, using terrorist tactics (speeders packed with bombs) they have broken through our initial line. However, with our forces we plan to counter their breakout decisively with as much force as we can muster.
Over a hundred Caluulan Government employees are suspected to have been callously slaughtered thus far. We call upon the Galaxy to see that this is the true face of the Cronese, bloodily aggressive, assaulting law enforcement officers for doing their job.

At 15:20 Caluulan standard time a Cronese Invasion force consisting of a Frigate and "Super Carrier" emerged from Hyperspace above our world with two small cruisers, despite warnings to leave and not return previously. These vessels launched fighters and bombers on a course to the airspace over our capital. In response to this we have launched fighters to engage the Cronese vessels and call upon all observers to protect Caluula from this illegal Cronese invervention.

Cronese invasion forces are attacking us. It is unlikely that we can hold out without aid. A Vindicator-clas ship as well as a selection of other vessels are leading the charge. We call upon all of the Tionese to look on these actions as what they are, an unprovoked and illegitimate invasion of our sovereignty. This may be the last message we can get out before they jam our communications.
We are a small world with barely three squadrons of star fighters, being attacked by the full might of a rogue sector. We call upon the Galaxy to help us.
