His Majesty, the Emperor, is pleased to announce his preference and appointment of Iago Ares as Grand Moff of the newly-established Triellus Oversector. As a former Moff of the Tammuz Sector, he is familiar with this area of space and its unique challenges. He has eliminated Separatist "holdouts" in the Tammuz Sector and stood up to the criminality of the Hutts. He has also been a consultant to Imperial Munitions, Inc., and has been a leader of the Imperial Department of Military Design and Research—in these roles, Ares showed an understanding of both government and business and advanced the liberal conception of a strong central government. He is the right man to address the challenges of the Triellus Oversector.
(As a Deralian, Grand Moff Ares will also serve as an exemplar of New Order values and set an "Empire first" example to the rest of the Triellus Oversector by implementing the re-culturalization of his homeworld and the replacement of ancient kingdoms and religions in the popular imagination of his people with proud and progressive Imperial values).
But the challenges of the Triellus Oversector are far greater than any one world or any one sector. The Tammuz Sector is but 5% of the Triellus Oversector, and Grand Moff Ares can be depended upon to transcend his provincial origins and give no thought or consideration to his homeworld that it doesn't deserve. As Grand Moff, his priorities are great—securing over a thousand parsecs of trade routes from interstellar piracy; cracking down on the Hutt Cartel's drug trafficking; bringing the light of Human High Culture to some of the darkest corners of the Outer Rim. Grand Moff Ares is the man for this task.
