I am informed you wish to contest our lawful blockade of Chandaar.
I wish to avoid the effusion of blood in a senseless contest of arms which would only cause the deaths of many.
Thus I propose a "ship duel" to decide the outcome.
Your largest ship, the Chandaar-class (or any other vessel you choose) will "duel" a selected ship from our Fleet, one on one with no other vessels or units participating.
If you win:
- The vessel we use in the "duel" will be surrendered to yourselves.
- We will leave Chandaar, pledging never to return.
- Anaxes will propose a repeal of the blockade motion.
If we win:
- The vessel you use in the "duel" will be surrendered to us.
- The rest of your fleet may withdraw from Chandaar unmolested but must avow not to interfere with the blockade.
- Robeir will consider adopting the required phrase into law as specified by the Blockade Motion.
I don't know if martial valour is traditional in your culture, but I believe a gentlemanly limited exchange of arms might be a much better way to diffuse the situation instead of a potentially very bloody conflict in which your fleet would be utterly destroyed by the vastly superior coalition forces - this way - one on one - at least the odds are less skewed in our favour.
