| Dear Sir,
Do you feel that it might be a good idea to step down and consider returning the powers vested in you to the Senate. They seem a pretty competent bunch and I just think since we're at peace now that maybe the time is passed for you to rule our great Galaxy.
I think you're probably a good man. I know you probably feel that only you are equipped to rule the Galaxy. But I really do urge you to reconsider ruling in such an undemocratic manner. The people of the Galaxy deserve a ruler who while also just is selected regularly, and is thus accountable to the people, ruling for the people, by the people.
I'm sure you're eminently reasonable, as I believe most politicians are, so I hope you receive this in the good spirit of constructive criticism that it's intended. Also, I feel that it would be a good idea for you to start co spidering your subordinates.
While many may be reasonable, and I'm sure Senator Ryuun would agree with me, others such as Moff Pike are paranoid and deranged, like Moff Verilia was, a man who I regret dealing with. Equally, others may be involved in questionable practices, just as we have seen from Moff Tarkin in the "Ghorman Massacre".
Captains of the Imperial Navy are allowed to run wild, slaughtering whole worlds like the Imperial Navy did at Alurion. Violence is met with violence, just as on Embaril, the misguided servants of the Empire punished the people of Embaril, most of whom were never involved in violence. Imperial Troopers, by the admission of your own Senators, make people uncomfortable, they should be seen as protectors should they not? Symbols of protection it oppression. I ask you to consider reining in your men if they exceed their orders, and guide them back to the path of riteousness.
