| ::A parcel would be sitting on Senator Cambrist's desk, a basket, to be exact. In the basket were packages of assorted chocolates filled with flavored creams and jellies. Some of the chocolates were shaped like eggs, and oddly enough, rabbits. Nestled in the middle was a live rabbit, a bunny, actually. Floppy ears, twitchy pink nose, and a large pink silk ribbon fashioned into a bow and gently tied around it's neck. Cute.::
Dear Senator Cambrist,
Happy Spring! On Chandrila we love to celebrate spring with a special festival marking the rebirth of nature after the dead of winter. I know that we have not always seen eye to eye, but I wanted to extend this traditional Chandrilan gift of spring with you, in hopes to build a bridge, not necessarily of friendship, but as colleagues and perhaps allies in the Senate.
The chocolates are all from the finest chocolatier on Chandrila, and the lop bunny is from one of our local organic farmers. I hear that once grown, they are a delicacy, but not when they are this small. Please enjoy them and accept my warmest greetings.
