High Command,

As the Clone Wars Memorial time draws near, I have decided that, with the Abrion Sector having been one that seceded to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, additional security will be required to ensure the loyalty. A show of force to remind the people that the Empire is the rightful leader of all that is good and just, and that it is the gentle hand that shelters them, is my ultimate aim. To this end, I will be conducting multiple tours of the systems within the Abrion Sector and increasing border security. If there is a need for assistance, I am sure that you will be more than willing to grant it.

As an addition, Abrion Sector production is up a further ten percent from the last checkup. Truly, this sector has flourished in recent years. We must find a way to reward the populace for their productivity.

Regards,

Moff Cole, please forward to us any security concerns you have at the conclusion of your tour and we'll provide you with whatever additional assets you need to keep the peace during the decennial. The Abrion Sector has been a symbol of Imperial success in bringing law and order to a once delinquent Outer Rim sector. We're pleased with your work in this respect and will do what we can to support you.

Fraternally,

Fleet Admiral Gregor Hines

Fleet Admiral Hines,

It would seem that, given the Abrion Sector's past, things are in better shape than I had fully expected. This, however, tends to make me a bit concerned. It is when things are going far too well that one must be all the more vigilant for issues. Nonetheless, some few issues were encountered during the sector patrols. They are listed as follows:

  • A small pirate fleet was located at Galpos II. From the signatures on the vessels, it would appear that some had been survivors who fled the purging of Roon. While misfortune prevented us from destroying them all at Galpos II, the pirate group was scattered with high losses among their numbers. It is my belief that, having been pushed from Roon, the pirates are attempting to exploit other less-inhabited planets within the Abrion Sector.
  • A smuggling ring operating on both Hishyim and Sumarin was broken up and the leadership arrested. The underlings captured were summarily tried and placed in confinement. Of the arrested leadership, six were processed and three of those had Separatist ties. The ringleader was found to be little more than a common criminal with an extensive history and was summarily executed.
  • Garban, in the Tau Sakar System, recently suffered a Jenet uprising. The uprising posed a moderate issue to the stormtroopers stationed there, largely due to the numbers of Jenet that attacked them. Fortunately, it was taken in hand and the Jenet Premier captured for his part in the uprising. The Premier, along with members of the Jenet's Council of One-hundred twenty-seven, were executed for rebellion against the Empire.

Despite the minor nature of these particular issues, I believe that an increase of patrols must be undertaken, especially along the border worlds of the Abrion Sector. To this end, I would request the assignment of a Victory-I-class Star Destroyer four frigates for patrol, specifically a pair of Victory-II-class and a pair of Imperial-II-class frigates.

Fraternally,

Geoff Cole
