We've arranged transport for you to Monor II. On the way there, you'll be provided with a briefing on your assignment; to investigate the loyalties of Agapos IX, the ruler of the planet, and to discover to what extent he and his government have been compromised by religious zealots; specifically, the "Divine Fire" priesthood that is believed to be responsible for the recent use of Monor II's warships at Dantooine, and the diplomatic fiasco that ensued. What's more, we have reason to believe that Monor II may pull out of its cirrifog mining contracts with Imperial mining companies; we require an assessment of if, and if so, when this is likely to happen.
Agapos will be told of your visit and asked to cooperate with your investigation, including providing access to his retinue of priests and bishops if need be. He won't be told, however, that one of the Emperor's Guardsmen shall accompany you and conduct his own, more covert investigation into this "Divine Fire" priesthood. I'm told he will travel with you on the flight there and back.
The Emperor himself is interested in this investigation, Agent Brennan, and Director Isard and myself will tolerate nothing less than success.

"Success" or "failure" for this assignment seem as broad as its objectives, but no, I don't expect I'll disappoint, Sir. I'll see the quartermaster about the equipment I'll need and I'll depart for Monor II presently.
