While we were once political rivals, I now count you among my closest personal friends. You have been a great friend to my family, and the most trusted advisor of my husband and I which we could never replace. Today, I ask of you something I never thought I would mere months ago. I require you to bring the House of Lords into an extraordinary session to vote on whether to lend ourselves to Vjun's plea for defense assistance. See to it that Praetor Rosselló also calls the Senate into a similar session. I have been told by Chairman Ferrer that the War Council supports this action. In the meantime, I will persue a course of peace in this brewing conflict between Vjun and Sluis Van.
