As always, I appreciate the time you take to ensure that things are running smoothly in the Kanz Sector. I feel I should inform you that the Imperial Taxation Bureau is attempting to play their little games; investigations into Stark Defense Conglomerate and whatnot. However, they seem to have the idea that they can freeze my personal assets and the assets of my fiance based off of a few misplaced items and paperwork, or so they claim.
I was hoping you might be willing or able to talk to a few of the folks on Imperial Center; some of your contacts or whatnot, and see what you can manage. I'd be greatly obliged. I hope you're doing well, and that we'll see you at the wedding.

You're always so damned formal, you know that? Some days I think you forget we haven't known each other for years. Either that or being a representative is getting to your head and making you forget things. Speaking of which, send my regards to Lekpin. I'm sure by now he knows that Argazda wants a sector senator vote. I'm quite confident that Lekpin will be the winner of that. Also, keep an eye out around Lorrd; the Argazdans are doing a bit of military movements. They called it training operations but I'm not so sure. That J'cep S'nar fellow who runs their world has always had it in for Lorrd.
Barring that, though, I'll look into this investigation and see about freeing up your assets. It sounds like someone in the taxation area made a bit of mistake here and there. As a precaution, forward me all the paperwork pertinent to your company and I'll have my people take a look over it. After all, this is part of my sector and you know I want my productivity at maximum.
