I am Vespasian Boldt, the Governor of the Yminis Sector. I followed the recent debate on your proposal to disarm and dismantle Separatist vessels with interest, and though your bill was withdrawn, you should know it had my personal support. I noticed there was some discussion of where these ships would be dismantled, should the bill pass. If you re-propose it at a later date, or another version of it, I hope you will consider the Kemix Yard in the Yminis Sector. It is a little-used Imperial repair station that could easily be re-purposed to dismantle ships as well as repair them. I would be honored to see the Kemix Yard put to so noble a purpose as the eradication of Separatist ships from this galaxy, to say nothing of the employment it could bring to my Sector.
But Imperial Center is reluctant to provide funding to the Yminis Sector, which is not blessed with an abundance of resources. It may require an act of the Senate to appropriate the funds necessary to convert the Kemix Yard, hence why I write to you in the hope that you will consider including it in your bill should it be re-proposed.

It is good to hear that the bill was not opposed by all fronts. Unfortunately, there were enough detractors that I was forces to withdraw it. However, as my time as Representative draws to a close, I would like to see at least a handful of bills pass before I depart the Senate halls, one of them being the removal and disarmament of Separatist vessels. With regards to the Kemix Yard, I would be glad to see it utilized as one of the yards proposed and funded to dismantle such weapons of war. As you say, it will increase the productivity of the Yminis Sector and allow for modernization of planetary fleets; a boon on both ends.
