| Dear Sir,
Monor II would like to express it's interest in sponsoring the erection of a Monument, Visitors Center and Museum on Queel to preserve the Battlefield and Republic Forward Command Post in memory of the glorious dead who fought to defend the Doldur Sector and wider Galactic Polity from the tyranny of Count Dooku and his various co-conspirators.
The Monument would be a destination for educational visits from across the Doldur Sector and Galaxy generally to remind them of the many sacrifices made by (a predominantly Human) Grand Army of the Republic in the service of the freedom of all beings everywhere.
The Museum would have a focus upon the Doldur Sector itself and would highlight the way in which several worlds (to their eternal shame) abandoned the fraternity of the Republic in the cause of base self-interest, it would also give recognition to the many worlds who supported the Republic and the sacrifices made in that cause.
I'd like to propose such a monument employ 50 Grand Army of the Republic Clones who have reached the end of their useful operational life or are wounded in some way, that they might continue to provide service, should they wish to, despite infirmity or age defeating their bodies (where even CIS Blasters could not).
The Monuments Committee would have ultimate say on naming of the facility, ethos and overall content. However, Monor II offers to take on the burden of it's cost, in perpetuity and will establish a trust fund to cover the continuing costs of the facility in addition to funding it's construction.
It'd be such a wonderful thing for the Empire to have such a facility so that the people of the Doldur Sector do not forget their pasts.
