| Honoured and Valued Friends, Lord King,
We've fought alongside eachother before, fighting heroically to protect Caluula from Cronese Military incursion, we share a common heritage and bond of kinship, both coming from groups of settlers who left Imperial Center many thousands of years ago.
Now the cause of honour has demanded that I once more take up the sword in protection of my blood-sworn kin - again it will be done with thought and moderation and we will first expend every diplomatic option during the negotiations we hope your Senator presides over.
While I understand if you do not wish to commit yourself in an overt and public manner to the conflict with Lorrd (as it has many allies) we would like to humbly solicit any aid you might provide (to be provided if negotiations fail). Naturally, if Deralia does with to commit itself to a joint effort against Lorrd publicly at any stage, we'd welcome that too.
Specifically, we would like to ask that you consider allowing any General Staff who so wish to aid our cause furlough and freedom to be commissioned into the Auril Sector forces to command our land forces, they would be guaranteed their present rank (and would likely be granted promotion to much higher rank as we are much in need of experienced officers).
Secondly, I'd like to ask that you do not bar any Deralians who wish to serve in the military of the worlds of our Union from taking our offer of free transport to the Unions worlds. Veterans would be guaranteed their old rank, and if enough volunteered we would equip units of exclusively Deralian origin so they might be in the company of their own. All Deralians serving would be guaranteed the most sophisticated armour and weapons available, and be exempt from all fatigues or heavy labour.
Thirdly, we would like to solicit the throne of Deralia for a loan of one billion credits to be repaid over the next fourty years in annual installments, in lieu of interest we would be willing to allow Deralian ships free berths and refueling at the Nespis VIII space city indefinitely, as well as permitting Deralia to establish one permanent outpost, depot or base on or around any of our worlds for free.
We hope you'll consider our humble requests, and would be open to discussion of any further arrangements you would consider between our two peoples.
