Despite the issues between our people, the Kinyov Province has a different feel on certain issues. While the deaths of the ethnic Tionese are regrettable, they did not occur in the Kinyov Province, nor by my hand. As such, I would like to open a private table between the two of us so that we might discuss certain terms.

I'm not surprised you've come to the negotiating table.
I'm willing to offer magnanimous terms for a separate peace with Kinyov Province.
The Kinyov-Auril Union Peace Treaty
Recognizing that it would be disproportionate for the The Honourable Union of the Worlds of the Auril Sector to carry on a war indiscriminately against a whole world when certain segments of its population are not desirous of war and express their willingness to respect Tionese lives by returning them to our custody (if any Ethnic Tionese fall into the power of Lord Stark) if it is in their power and furthermore have agreed to pay an indemnity to the Auril Union in material.
Lord Stark apologizes for firing upon Auril vessels.
Kinyov Province, nor it's citizens, nor House Stark shall not supply any aid, money, men or material of any kind to the wider Lorrdian war effort.
No corporate forces under Lord Stark's command shall serve in the service of the wider Lorrdian war effort.
The corporations owned in total or in part by Lorrd Stark will agree to sell war material up to the value of one hundred million credits to the Auril Sector with a fifty percent discount.
The Honourable Union of the Worlds of the Auril Sector and the Lordship of Kinyov Province now, forevermore and perpetually end the recently declared war and are in a state of peace.
The Kinyov Province shall be regarded as a Neutral power and is recognized as sovereign in its own right, its citizens and military shall be treated as those of a Neutral power and no military operations shall be conducted within its territory, neither shall it conduct military operations against Auril forces.
This treaty shall be applicable only to the Kinyov Province, The Honourable Union of the Worlds of the Auril Sector shall remain at war with the other states on Lorrd unless otherwise treated with.
The Kinyov Province and Lord Alyn Stark agrees that they shall not cooperate with or endorse any war effort by the other Ruling Houses.

| A few points, Commodore, if I may.
I. I am willing to send forth any Ethnic Tionese folk in the Kinyov Province, if there are any and if they wish to depart Lorrd of their own free will, without molestation or injury.
II. My actions in firing upon your vessels can only be done if the Auril Sector apologies for firing on a Clone Wars decorated veteran acting in defense of his homeworld.
III. This is acceptable.
IV. I cannot grant this as the corporations themselves, namely Lorrd Engineering, are Lorrdian Companies. Vigilance Technologies and Stark Defense Conglomerate are, of course, open-market companies and sell to whomever pays.
V. The corporations under my control are willing to sell to the Auril Sector at a reduced price, but not at a fifty-percent discount. That's not reasonable.
Are any of these within compromise?

| My articles weren't numbered. Explain to me in bullet points exactly what terms I propose you won't agree to from my proposal.. Bear in mind, I am in negotiations with multiple other powers on Lorrd and it would be inappropriate for me to grant you any special favours, especially after you fired on my ships.
As for the discount, it represents the indemnity (wergild) I demand paid - that translates to fifty million credits (if we bought 100 millions worth of equipment) for keeping your Province out of harms way and keeps yourself our of harms way. I'd call that a bargain wouldn't you.

Fifty million credits is a lot of money, Commodore, enough for several families to live well for the rest of their lives. It is also a steep price for the province itself to pay, especially when we contributed to no deaths of ethnic Tionese.

| How much is your Fortress worth alone? Fifty million is the -potential- loss if we elect to buy from you, which we don't know we would do, we just want the option. It's a damned bargain and I'll not have you reject it if you want peace.
I'm not asking Kinyov Province to pay - I'm asking you, their liege lord to pay, and not to tax them to reimburse you.
I don't care about the rights and wrongs of the situation - I am stating you shot at me and I object to that which is why I am charging a steep but reasonable price for putting pen to paper and forgiving a man who has made war against me.
When and if I make peace with Lorrd, it will be dependent on the payment of wergild that is likely to be around two hundred times as high as I am asking of you, this will be a steep price for peace - but I'm willing to insist on a term in the treaty we'll make that exempts the Lords and their provinces that have made separate peace from contributing.
As I say, I'm offering you a bargain Alyn. The price of wergild will alter as the days go on and increase to recompense for the insult of refusing such a reasonable offer if you fail to accept.

| You'll have to give me time to consult some of my advisers, Commodore. The money I have isn't just 'my money.' It's money that goes to funding the Kinyov Province and three companies. I do have my own, but not nearly that much.
I don't suppose we could just commit to an honorable duel to first blood over the matter of the Kinyov Province's peace with the Auril Sectors? After all, I thought the Tionese took such things seriously.

I'm willing to accept that it's a big discount to grant in one blow. I'm willing to drop it to a 50% discount on five million credits worth of products each year for ten years - lessening the blow.

Thirty minutes, you have thirty minutes to sign or the offer will be withdrawn and will not be offered again on such generous terms. I am incredibly insulted that you're equivocating about a treaty that even if it does make you a short term loss will set you up as the default supplier for the better part of a whole sector - I offered these terms demanding only discounts as a concession that is designed to promote a healthy future relationship where our groups interact peaceably.
As I say, thirty minutes from now.
