| The Imperial Government of the Auril Sector calls for moderation by both sides in the conflict and guarantees its support for any negotiated cease-fire. Furthermore it declares its intention not to involve itself in hostilities in any capacity unless Imperial Law is breached or Imperial facilities are threatened. The Auril Union forces are to be penalized with a fine to compensate for the losses incurred in Imperial crewmen in their raid on the Lorrdian Battlestation, but also re-iterates that investigation has shown that they were unaware of the Imperial presence on the station.
It is unconventional to share facilities with local militia and we believe this affair highlights the problems in overly close ties between Sector and Planetary forces, it should be noted that no facilities within the Auril Sector are shared and all Imperial facilities and forces are clearly marked with an Imperial transponder and markings - in the event of hostilities occurring they should not be targeted.
Any settlement or profits accruing from the conflict by the Honourable Union of the Worlds of the Auril Sector will be taxed as income along normal sector rates into the Imperial Treasury. Military action will be tolerated within the sector between warring Member worlds as long as all the regulations and laws are followed, and that war is not carried to civilians or citizens of neutral worlds.
