| I write to you on behalf of his Ferociousness Tssk the Egregious, as Non-Executive Chair of the Board of SubPro.
He expresses his wonderment that with your own company so recently entering into a mutually beneficial partnership deal with his recently inherited arms interest why you have not approached the Sublight Products Corporation for orders? While the Stark-SubPro products are still on the drawing board, we have a back catalogue and more than one hundred ships sit in his surplus warehouses - perhaps you'd care to visit the warehouse and showroom on Jerne? I'm told it's got several dozen craft from the war and some more recent models for sale and is extremely nearby.
I was also handed me a parcel three days ago by a Sub-Chief from Trandosha who said it was an official message for you, I had shipped by the express packet to Lorrd and should arrive at the same time I send this communication. I have no idea of it's contents but as a delegate of my employer requested I sent it, I have.

*The package would literally be delivered via the courier to Stark's location, having been instructed to find him directly. It was a diplomatic package so had not been scanned. The package was encased in a soft outer polymer layer which could be ripped with the hands. Inside was a simple fur satchel with a musk which would be familiar had Stark met male Wookiees... It would be found (if he scanned) to contain no poisons or electronic devices or weapons of any description. It would show that inside there was a folded parchment, a necklace made of teeth, and some sort of knife.*

| Mr. Maxwell,
I wrote to you not too long ago actually about acquiring some items from SubPro to act in defense of Lorrd. However, if the items as you say are not actually produced, it leaves me lacking unfortunately. Nonetheless, a brief itemization of any ships SubPro has available would help; in my current status I am acting as an impromptu battle commander and I do not wish to depart Lorrd offhand and deprive it of a defensive vessel.
*Stark's location at present was on the Viridian Sky. Before the courier was re-routed to the war-yacht, the item was indeed scanned by Castle Stark guardsmen. When it was brought to Stark, who was busy at a planning table, he motioned for the guardsman who'd brought it to him to open it. Glancing over the items, Stark pointed to the folded parchment. "Open that up and read it, if you please."*

Your record, as you have written here, is very impressive to me. Lorrd is indeed seeking mercenary forces to bolster our own defensive fleet for the purposes of the defense of our home against the Auril Sector forces in the coming days. I am authorized to accept your offer and hire you on. You will likely be working alongside other mercenary bands under a common command, but your own actions and formations within any combat will be left solely to your form of the execution of any given task. I do hope this is fair enough in regards to formations.
Payment discussions would be far more easily negotiated in person and I welcome you and a private retinue to the neutral world of Thovinack to discuss these matters at your convenience.
