1.5. Vessels traveling through a particular sector on a known trade route for the sole purpose of transit to another sector (and activities expressly related to this purpose, such as maintenance, repair, etc.), and remaining in the sector for no longer a time than necessary for this purpose, shall not be subject to the regulations of that sector concerning the possession of capital-class vessels, or the armament of such vessels, etc. In this sense, known trade routes shall be considered "havens" from sector regulations ("known trade routes" referring also to the immediate vicinity of a known trade route or any known route necessary for the transit from one sector to an adjacent sector).
