| Dear Sir,
I'd like you to look over our latest concepts and let us know what the Empire thinks. We've put a couple of excellent super-heavy units on this months suggestions as per your preference, these behemoths truly would provide the Empire with a massive enhancement in heavy armour to rival the enhancement in capital ships the Imperial-class provided.
We also have provided some designs for a prototype system that would be ideally deployed alongside these larger walkers as escorts (just as frigates and destroyers escort cruisers and battleships) to maximize protection for these high value assets and make them as difficult to target as possible. They also have utility as area denial and defensive devices.

Notes: Rothana Heavy Engineering brought you the SPHA-T, the weapon that won the Clone Wars, now it brings you the latest in siege weaponary. A high mobility siege platform with an excellent defensive capacity, the AT-SW is able to contest with the best of siege fortifications head on. Marching up to a rebel fortress it can defiantly shrug off the heaviest firepower (even capital ship grade for a time) while it's weapons swing into position, leveled upon the enemy. Visualize the moment of silence as the enemy holds their breath, and the glowing red shields of this intimidating beast flicker and phases off.. then the whine and smell of ozone as electrical discharge crackles about it's plasma cannon.. then the white flash filling the field and blinding those with their eyes on the weapon.. the noise too would overload the senses of a human nearby (causing death by shock to any within 50m from noise alone on unprotected ears).. when the flash cleared, all that would remain of the thickest fortress wall would be a crumbling breach and a thin vapour of the defenders. Imagine the shock and awe of the turbolaser fire of the walker continuing into the breach and upon the defensive positions remaining as the Imperial Stormtroopers surged forward, into the breach and victory.
Caveats:
This weapon is unsuitable for use on swampy terrain or that incapable of supporting Heavy All Terrain series walkers (such as the AT-AT).
Be aware that the weapon accuracy is not optimal over long distances if the walker is moving.
Be aware that although extremely durable it is a heavy weapons platform and should be deployed (similarly to the AT-AT) alongside a suitable ground and air support element.
The main turbolaser system can fire approximately once per two seconds, the plasma cannon once per five seconds.
Caution should be given when deploying the vehicle in close proximity to infantry not equipped with ear and flash protection helmets (Stormtrooper helmets ought to be sufficient). Infantry should remain at least 100m distant even with protection while the plasma cannon is in operation for health and safety reasons. Vehicles should remain 50m distant while plasma cannon is in operation as electrical discharge may inversely impair sensors of nearby vehicles.
Armoured treads likely to damage most road surfaces.

This brings it to around 28 M in height instead of the usual 50, and allows quick and safe rapelling of the entire unit aboard, in order to protect the descending vehicles and troopers, a the shield generators activate and provide protection in each quadrant from all varieties of enemy fire. This shield remains active as long as the vessel is "squatting" as it uses the power normally directed to the drive systems for it's energy; in standard operation the vehicle will remain squatting for two minutes to provide maximum protection for disembarking troopers and then provide ample time for them to find cover before the transport moves off. The sheer size of this walker is likely to intimidate many enemies into surrender by sight alone, with it's firepower and compliment providing the coup de grace if required. It is suggested that although effective, this weapon be deployed only to select terror units or in situations where other methods have failed as fear of the weapon will be it's main strength.

Copycat Remote: A simple remote that is fitted with a Copycat Pod allowing it to project the sensor image of any AT series vehicle. With a simplistic droid brain these can fly remote controlled or automatic and will move at the speed of the vehicle theyre projecting the sensor image of - acting as a false target for enemy artillery or missiles.

Width: 4M Height: 2M/At Rest Ground Clearance: 0.75 M Movement note: Awkward movement, range limited to walking 50 KM - designed to move only to assume new fire positions Max Speed - on road 6 KPH Max Speed - off road: 4 KPH Deployment options: These can be deployed in compressed form from larger ground transports (container occupies circa 2M x 2M each unit), from the air via anti-gravity chutes or from orbit using single use drop pods. Note: An excellent weapon that allows older Clones to remain useful, deployed inside a hardened turret their physical condition matters little as they operate the simply and efficient RHE interfaces to control this lethal anti-aircraft or anti-vehicle weapon to maximum effect. It should be noted that only conditioned crewmen should be assigned to this turret for long periods of time as the cockpit is somewhat claustrophobic and not optimized for long term comfort. Ideal for scattering ahead of an assault, to hold ground etc. The networkability of these units is their key strength as they can be coordinated to provide a high level of cover for ground vehicles and intervene in aerial dogfights to assure Imperial air domination. The onboard droid brain generally does most of the movement of the turret, with the operator only being required to operate the weapons themselves, the light tractor beam onboard is optimal for use against fighters and other small craft, allowing them to be effectively slowed to allow the gunnery system it's full effect. Power cells require recharging or replacement once every seventy-two hours of combat use or four weeks of standby mode, missiles to be replenished as required. In the event the turret runs out of power or missiles, it may be necessary for the crewman to abandon it, aboard there is space for standard infantry equipment, when abandoned the turret should be set to auto-destruct if approached by an unfriendly unit.
We're also working on a light powered suit to be issued for emergencies to troopers.
