As per your request to me earlier, I have analyzed the current state of defenses that Telos IV holds alongside our current budget. With the current number of shipyards among the Outer Rim, I would recommend it be best to court a number of them rather than purchase from one alone. As such, this is my recommendation.
Firstly, our refit CR70 corvettes (we may as well call them CR90s for all intents and purposes) should be upgraded to a better-armed configuration that will allow them to have a wider range of applications as interdiction and defense vessels.
Now, to the direct purchases. I suggest we sell off the seventy-two Planetary Defender Starfighters accumulated during the last senator's term. These fighters are old and outmoded. In exchange, we outfit ourselves with four squadrons of Sluis Van Shipyards' Arsix-class fighter (see top) so that we might have updated interception craft. Needless to say, to have a well-rounded fleet, we must cover all bases.
To this end, I recommend purchase of a single Avarice-class frigate from Lorrd Engineering for a mid-range defensive vessel and lastly, a Dictator-class frigate for heavy defense. In this same manner, we make ties with Sluis Van Shipyards, Lorrd Engineering and Rothana Engineering which has the capacity to expand further opportunities.

| Aleksandr, please, how many times must I ask you to call me Alexia? Once more, perhaps?
I do appreciate your work to revamp Telos IV's defense fleet. I was completely unprepared before in senate chamber when someone asked, and I am glad that it will not happen again. As you are the defense minister, your recommendations will surpass those of any others.
Once I am finally accepted into the Senate, I will propose these changes made immediately.
