| Gentlemen of the Media.
I regret to announce that earlier today (1530 Trandoshan time) Lord Alyn Stark made an unprovoked attack upon the person of the War Chief of the Trandoshans, Tssk the Ferocious. In the ensuing struggle, which happened in the presence of several dignitaries including an Imperial Magistrate, was by all accounts foolhardy and unprovoked. The Bodyguards of the War Chief opened fire after Lord Stark ran across the feasting chamber and attacked the War Chief who by all accounts made every effort to simply back away peaceably and allow his bodyguards to secure Stark for his own safety, seeing him as a long time friend and ally.
Shocked at the brazen nature of the attack, the bodyguard of the War Chief opened fire upon Stark and his own bodyguard, the bodyguard was killed instantly but Mr Stark mortally wounded. His Last Will and Testament were taken by the Imperial Magistrate presence after he was injured when it became apparent that his wounds were lethal. Alyn Stark passed away at 16:48:24 Trandoshan time from his wounds, while we were attempting to open a comms link between him and his wife to say goodbye. The Last Will and Testament will be transmitted to my offices where it will be publicly read tomorrow.
At a similar time, Alyn Stark's vessels attempted to attack the Trandoshans own, and were additionally destroyed or fled. We appeal to anyone with information regarding Alyn Stark's unusual behavior. The War Chiefdom of Trandosha indicates it will not be pressing charges against Lord Stark's estate for the assault on the War Chief, as Lord Stark was a long time friend and business partner who appears to have been acting completely out of his normal frame of mind.
