Karth... if you're out there... I have a feeling that a re-uniting should be placed in the Empire's list of annoyances...

Unfortunately for Havoc, Karth didn't have a habit of placing his contact information out on the holonet, especially since Imperial records now stated that Jedi Knight Karth De'Qora had, in fact, died following the commencement of Order 66. As far as anyone knew that man no longer existed; who was once Jedi Karth De'Qora was now Jacen Hall, owner of the Rusty Wrench; a hole-in-the-wall starship repair yard on the planet Kolatill. Kolatill itself, while being one of the main exporters of repulsorlift engines in the galaxy, was so far beyond the Core that most likely any transmissions wouldn't even reach the system, much less a "mechanic" who didn't even have a holonet feed in his home. If Karth, or "Jacen", had received such a transmission he would have been more surprised that a fellow Jedi was so liberal with his name and location, not to mention revealing the existence of other Jedi throughout the galaxy through such carelessness. In all reality, Jedi Knight Havoc might have contributed to the deaths of several of his own, all because he decided to send out a transmission for them.

Well, sadly for everyone, the message was sent using encryption on secure channels provided to him by his special friend. And along with that, if anyone attempted to hack the message, they'd get a nasty surprise. Plus the message was sent out in short bursts using Karth's last known frequency, which probably was disconnected.

Karth's frequency was, in fact, dead. Coupled with the fact that every Imperial and planetary record listed him as deceased; it was well-known (albeit incorrect) that the man known as Karth De'Qora no longer existed in this or any plane. Even if a signal had somehow managed to find its way beyond the Outer Rim, after Karth had been extremely careful not to allow his frequency to be traced, the former Jedi had no connection to the outside world... not even a comm unit. Any chance he had of being found on purpose had been taken care of.
