Greetings,
Before I introduce myself, I would like to give a sincere apology for what had happened upon your world. It is unfortunate what the Empire had done to your people on Parein II. What had happened isn't a solitary event. It has happened on several worlds in the past, and is probably happening elsewhere at this moment. I am Mika Jeebs, an aide-de-camp to the leader of an anti-Imperial resistance group known as the Libs. The Libs would like to offer you a place to stay, at least for a while. We have a few places where your people can stay. Please contact me if you are interested. We are an enemy of the Empire, just as you are. We must unite if we are to survive.
Sincerely,
Mika Jeebs An aide-de-camp to the leader of the Libs

| To: The Libs From: Acting-Commander Pastin Or'doth
Greetings,
Your condolences come at an opportune time. We did not believe the Empire would persecute our people; but then again, we have heard conflicting reports of the situation. I must point out that we are not at this time enemies of the Empire. We must remain neutral towards them if we have any hope of recovering our people. I cannot consider a unity until Presidium Da'shune and any survivors are returned to us. Do you have a method or means of doing such?
Sincerely,
Pastin Or'doth Acting-Commander
K'so Da'shune Presidium of the Independent Hapan Nation

| Acting-Commander Or'doth,
I have been following the reports of the incident at Parein II closely. I cannot force you to believe whether the Empire is an enemy of your people or not. But there is no doubt that after the space battle had been ensued, the ground forces would have caused chaos and committed atrocities against your people. There is a possibility that your Presidium and other survivors may be treated as prisoners of war. If so, it is common for the Empire to deport prisoners to the mines of Kessel. Now, as a gesture of goodwill and faith, I am prepared to stage a rescue mission for your Presidium and any other other survivors...with your approval, of course.
You see, unlike the Empire, we believe in freedom. The Libs would like very much to aid your people, but we cannot tell you what to do for your people. That is a decision you have to make, only you. I will use our resources to locate your people. However, you must understand that if you agree to allow us to stage a rescue, you will be considered an enemy of the Empire. Either way, your people are welcomed to house at any of our outposts for the time being.

| Mika Jeebs,
We would be foolish to decline your offer, however wary we are of outsiders still. Nonetheless, we must be reunited with our brothers and sisters. If you would undertake such a rescue... well, we would be honor bound to at least aid you for a time. We will do what we can if you can rescue them.
Regards,
Acting-Commander Or'doth

With your approval, we have planning underway to rescue your people. You will hear from us whether the rescue was deemed successful or failure.
