I would like to defect to your forces with my vessel, I am the commanding officer of a small Special Forces Corvette in the Tammuz Sector. I do not know how supportive of defection my crew are. I would like to propose that we meet at a world, and I will see to it that the strongest Imperial Loyalists are dispatched as a shore party (for whatever reason) then your crew join me. I have seen the rule of the Empire become more and more evil, and less and less just.
I have access to a considerable number of classified documents from the Moff, I also have withdrawn the maximum possible from the Tammuz Sector Discretionary Fund, allowing me to defect to yourself with 500,000 Imperial Credits in addition to the information and vessel.
To your cause I am able to bring considerable experience, 30 years working on the peripheries of Government across the Republic and Empire have given me a huge number of contacts and friends I can call in favours from.
In order to join you I will require some undertakings:
1. I will not be sidelined, I would like a Captaincy in your fleet or a Senior Intel role in your HQ.
2. I will not be made to work with criminals, I will support you because I do not believe in tyranny, this does not mean I believe in robbery or atrocities.
3. My crew (if they do not join us) should not be harmed or tortured, but released at the earliest convenience on a populated world with the ability to call for help.
4. You give me asylum and protection from the forces who will come after me, and from the weapons dealer known as "Mr Friend".
5. You pay for my family to be supported (through covert means) throughout my service and allow me leave to see them regularly.
I hope to hear back from you and to take your hand as a brother fighting against tyranny.

I suppose that name will suffice for now, seeing as I have nothing else to call you. You are more than welcome to defect to my side, and indeed, it is a surprising thing to find these days. Your credits and vessel will certainly be a boon, though I have no plans in the near future for operations in the Tammuz Sector. Your terms are easy enough to agree with; you shall retain captaincy of your own vessel, with a seat at the war councils as is given to all my captains. You will not need to work with criminals, though I do often employ such as means to an end and some are... quite reformed. Your crew is of no consequence and as such, will not be harmed. If I kept my word to the captain of a Star Destroyer, I shall not break it to you. Of course you shall have asylum and benefits and leave for your family. I am not a heartless man, sir.
