The Tapani Senator is under investigation after two separate allegations of rape, Holonet media report. A Twi'lek Youth came forward yesterday saying he had been sexually assaulted by the man while at his home in a Imperial Centre Alien District, Holonet News says.
The man, identified in court documents as Mical De Crion, has been under investigation for acts of sexual abuse of vulnerable aliens for many months, officials said.
Mr De Crion, had been on Imperial Centre since taking up his tenure as Senator, and has been noted to often frequent the low dens of inequity and vice in the seedier districts of the planetwide city.
The alleged victim has provided sworn statements to prosecutors ahead of a possible criminal case, Holonet News reported.

The Twi'lek said he had been drinking at a party at the Senator's house in two years ago when he became suddenly ill and passed out.

He woke up later thinking he had had been penetrated by Crion, but unable to remember for sure, court documents say.
Court documents said investigators found drugs associated with date-rape in the garbage compactor outside Senators's Imperial Centre home, Holonet News reported.
A Senator represents his world in the Imperial Senate while managing relationships with the Empire itself.
The case is to to be heard in the coming weeks.
