The Proclarush Taonas was inside hyperspace, and has been for a while now. It was the name of the YT-1300 light freighter Darwin and Kaylie had both purchased a while back. They had left Socorro, and they left empty-handed. They weren't able to convince Commander Toth that they could be allies. The Jedi decided to forget about the Socorran Resistance, at least for a while. He had R2-T3 watch the controls inside the cockpit. The astromech droid was responsible for flying the light freighter most of the time except for when the Imperials are chasing them down. Darwin was wearing his usual white t-shirt and a ragged, brown jacket. In addition to that, there was a black fiber pants with yellow lining going down the sides. Both his lightsaber and DH-17 blaster pistol were placed on the table in front of him.

His legs leaned on the edge of the table, the Jedi looked around the main galley for a moment before turning his attention toward Kaylie. His left arm were leaned on the bottom part of the chair, while the right leaned on his stomach. Darwin was looking bored at the moment, "Kay...do you think we'll arrive the Kashyyyk system sometimes soon?" The Jedi usually love space travel, but there are times when he didn't like just sitting around and waiting to reach a destination.

She had actually fallen asleep in her seat, almost half stretched out on the bench that spanned one side of the galley table. There was a magazine resting on her chest and it was open to where she had been reading before she crashed out. When Darwin spoke, she startled right out of sleep and the magazine went flying onto the floor. "No, not the tadpoles." Was all she said when she startled like that, not that her words would make much sense. "Huh?"

"Kashyyk, right....uh....I'll go check." Kaylie murmured as she pulled herself to her feet and rubbed her eyes sleepily and went to the cockpit, where she plunked herself down into her seat and checked the nav charts. "Bout an hour, Dar." She hollered back to him. "Then we'll be planetside."

Darwin shook his head, "At least there's only an hour left." He had never been so bored on a ship before. Usually, he was fleeing from the Imperials or shooting them down. This time around, it was one long and peaceful ride. The Jedi reassessed himself that he probably should take advantage of this, there won't be many chances of having flying without interruptions. He decided to get off the seat, heading out of the main galley and headed toward the cockpit. The Jedi stopped once he stood behind Kaylie, "Do you think we'll find a Jedi on Kashyyyk?"

Darwin looked up, looking outside the cockpit. He was watching the beautiful blue tunnel of hyperspace, wondering how they'd be able to get past the Imperials. "I don't know how we're gonna get past the whites on Kashyyyk. There's a lot of Imperial presence, plus the slavers, because they monitor the Wookiee "labor" carefully."

Kaylie was already starting the procedures to drop out of hyperspace when Darwin came up behind her. "I really don't know, Darwin. You know I can't sense these things." She murmured as she checked her flight plan again. "Right now, I am more worried about getting us past any Imperial ships and getting us landed safely. One step at a time, right?" Kaylie asked as she paused a moment and looked up and over her shoulder at Darwin.

He was a good friend to her, always had been, even when he dissapeared to Academy. And now, she was glad to be on this journey, despite the danger he constantly worried over. "It'll be alright. As long as we don't drop out of hyperspace next to an Imp ship, we'll be fine. And I am taking us out on the far side of the planet, just to be a little safer."

The Jedi nodded at Kaylie, "Even with my Jedi senses, it'd be difficult to sense a Jedi on Kashyyyk. I've heard of stories where darkness looms in the Shadowlands. You know dark side clouds my ability to sense. If there is a Jedi, we'll have to find him with our own eyes." He'd wait for Kaylie to have the ship drop out of hyperspace. Kaylie had been the only friend he had been with the past decade. So far, she had been a good one. She may not be a warrior, but she was someone he could trust. Well, her and R2-T3. He hadn't seen Knights Varitek and Largero since that day the Order 66 was executed. Darwin hadn't lost hope in finding them. That was a part of reason he was travelling all over the galaxy with Kaylie and Artie, it was to look for them.

"Let's do it, and don't bother flying casual. We don't have the clearance codes if they do decide to stop us anyway. Just head straight for the surface as fast as possible."

Kaylie paused and pulled her mousy brown hair into a ponytail and secured it with an elastic band. She sighed and slumped back into the pilots seat as she stared blankly at the nav console. "We'll be fine, Dar. Promise. And besides, if we're not, it's not like you'll have a chance to yell at me." She tried to joke.

"Have a seat and buckle up. Gonna pull out of hyperspace now." She said as she tapped a few buttons on the console and started the sequence. Within moments, the blur of blue stars dissipated and the lush green of Kashyyk could be seen in the right hand side of the front view window. There were no Imp ships in sight, but that hardly meant anything.

"Will you check the scanners?" She asked as she took manual control of the ship and veered toward the planet to begin the landing sequence.

The Jedi chuckled lightly, "You never know." Darwin then winked at Kaylie. That was the moment Kaylie told him to sit down, he decided to do so. The Jedi would wait for the ship to drop out of hyperspace before looking out the window. It was definitely Kashyyyk, the lush green planet was in sight. He sat up in order to look at the scanners, closely for a couple of moments. "There isn't anything on the scanners. But I have no doubt that there's an Imperial Star Destroyer out on patrol. It won't be long before they return, we should land on the planet before that happens." After telling her to head straight for the surface, he got up and rushed out of the cockpit. The Jedi went back into the main galley, grabbing the holster. Darwin then proceeded to attach it to the belt, a DH-17 blaster pistol that was already inside the holster. The lightsaber was taken from the table as well, placing it into one of the inside pockets of the jacket.

Darwin was waiting for the YT-1300 to land, so that both of them could begin their mission. He wanted to leave Artie behind, because of the hostile environment of Kashyyyk and that Artie's going to guard the ship.

"Alright, alright, sheesh." She said as she steered the ship planetside. Kaylie glanced back as he left the cockpit before she turned her attention back to the task at hand. Entering atmo and then not crashing and blowing up. Both were good plans.

"Hang onto something, Dar!" She called back as she began the landing sequence. The ship shuddered as it hit the atmosphere and burned through, stopping as suddenly as it had started. Kay looked for a good place to land and found nothing but trees. She looked at the scanners and found a spot, then lowered the ship gently below the canopy line where it wouldn't be able to be seen from overhead.

The Jedi would feel the rumbling begin. The ship was entering the atmosphere of the planet, suddenly sitting on the chair and holding on to the table in front of him. A few moments of holding on to the table has passed, and the rumblings had subsided. He'd get off the chair and headed toward the ramp, waiting for it to open up. At this point, Darwin was hoping that no Imperial had seen the ship land on the planet. He was in no mood to fight at the moment, the pair was there to find any evidences of the Jedi. If there's even a Jedi on Kashyyyk, it's possible but unlikely. Darwin wasn't going to give up, not by the long shot.

Darwin was standing by, waiting for the ship to be landed and for Kaylie to come to him.

Kaylie took the time to power down all unnecessary functions before she would wander back to meet Darwin. She grabbed her coat as she went and slung it on, then glanced to him. "So, where to first? Any plans or are we just going to wander about all aimless-like?"

She smirked a little. It didn't much matter to her which direction they went, so long as they got back to ship if something went awry.

The Jedi looked at Kaylie, not getting out of the ramp just yet. He looked around Kaylie's body to see if there was any weapons on her. "Where are your weapons?" Darwin shook his head lightly, perhaps Kaylie didn't know how dangerous Kashyyyk can get. "The Imperials aren't the only danger around here. There are several creatures that's going to want to harm us." Of course the Jedi was being serious, he didn't want to lose whose could potentially be his only ally for a long time. It wasn't just that, it was also because she was a good friend of his and he cared about her.

"Look, here's my blaster pistol. It'll serve you well if you use it wisely." The Jedi took the pistol out of the holster and handed it to Kaylie. Now he would have to rely solely on his lightsaber, which is fine for him. At least a lightsaber makes a lot less noise than a blaster shot would ever does. Darwin walked down the ramp, looking around to assess the environment. They seems to be on the ground, full of grass. There were very large trees in sight, they were called Wroshyr trees. "Looks like you landed the ship in the Shadowlands. Keep your eyes open, a lot can happen in a short time." The Jedi had let out a sigh, deciding to take the lightsaber out of one of the inside pockets within the jacket. Then he proceeded to activate it, and a blue glow came to life. It would brighten up the nearby surrounding to make for a better visibility. "Let's go, Kay." He wasn't using his lightsaber as a weapon, he was using it as a light to brighten the area. However, it could be used as both. The Jedi knew he was taking a risk by leaving the lightsaber on, but it could pay off in the long run.

Kaylie sighed and took the blaster. "Jeeze, Dar. My belt is hanging right there." She motioned to the belt with two holstered blasters hanging just inside the cargo bay near to the ramp. She handed Dar's blaster back to him and grabbed her own belt before she fastened it around her hips. Idly, she adjusted the belt, resting fingertips on each of the blasters so that she would know exactly where they were if she needed them.

A few moments later she would follow him down the ramp and into the groves of the large, surrounding trees. Her gaze went back to the ship for a moment as she clicked a remote to raise the ramp to keep anyone or anything off of the ship. Kaylie sighed. "You gave that droid of yours instructions, right? He knows what to do if we send the signal?" she asked. And although she trusted Darwin, she and the droid had yet to become friends, so her trust issue was right there.
