Volus has attempted to initiate a combative situation by prohibiting Vjun Tunics (a major Vjunite export) without informing Vjun that this is the case, as a result of this over 1,130,000 of merchandise has been stolen from its legitimate owners. Unfortunately, Vjun is not a world which can permit its people to be robbed in such an abominable manner. I pose to you all that Volus has taken its actions not out of "environmental concerns" (Vjun tunics are organic and biodegradable, I see not what harm they could do), but as a direct attack on the economy of Vjun, and as a direct snub to my people based on Volus' disagreement with certain items of Senate Law which were originally proposed by Vjun.
Such petty aggression against the humble weavers and clothiers of Vjun, who have done nothing to earn Volus' ire is shocking and horrible. Why would Volus seek to attack the very people of Vjun because of a dislike of Vjun's legislation? What will it be next? Will the farmers of Dantooine be attacked if Volus disagrees with Dantooine's proposals? Will the shipping companies of Brentaal, Anaxes and Imperial Center be prohibited from Volus' space just because Volus does not agree with their Senators?
People of the Galaxy, Volus attacks Vjun today, but tomorrow, who will be next?
Volus has:
- Seized Imperial Citizens from Vjun and Dantooine on trumped up charges.
- Seized private property worth over a million credits without warning any that the property was now illegal on Volus.
- Prohibited a popular fabric, and thrown the economic lives of many Vjunites into threat.
