Accidental Capture on Coruscant?

| Time passed. It extended over a period of a week, though to Thanatos it might well feel like an eternity. A number of methods were employed; a number of medical droids on standby to keep him from death, to repair the injuries so that he might be broken again, the shattering of his mind the eventual goal so that he might be remade. The IT-O droid came into play at one point, lowering his pain threshold. Arc emitters were utilized on his genitals. Acid jets on his chest and stomach. Sonic torture for hours on end. Burning, a torture involving a blaster at low power to sear flesh from bone, was used along his left leg, from foot to thigh. Blades, broken bones, even the opening of his body, were all employed. Thanatos was sewn up and doctored by droids. Then came electrocution, sleep deprivation and even an agony inducer were used, and this was all before the Inquisitors got really creative with the Force. Certain deeds were quite unspeakable (and as such, shan't be mentioned here) and at the end of nine days, he was given a final check by the medical droids and thrown into a cell, yet again, this time, with food and water waiting for him. He was only given a dark robe to keep him clothed. Whether or not the man remained true inside waited to be seen.

| The days felt like years with all of the torture he had gone through. His body had been torn and broken numerous times through out the time he was there. His mind, however had been strong and withstood the pain and such that he went through. Once they had finished with him, he was thrown into a dark cell, again. He was given food and water, but his body was too weak to want it. With the dark robe wrapped around his body, Kal sat in the corner of the cell, silent and waiting. He was waiting for the moment when all of this would end and he would be able to move on and be stronger. His body may have been surgically healed, but it still hurt. The pain, he would never forget it. He would wait for someone to come get him, and hoped that he wouldn't have to endure those torturous methods any longer.

| At long last, a different High Inquisitor, one who had not been present before, came before Thanatos. Opening the cell, the man looked down upon the former Jedi without emotion. "Do you accept the tenets of the Empire, Kal Thanatos? Have you forsaken your foolish Jedi past in the hope of a brighter future in the Empire? Will you serve unquestioningly among the men and women of the Inquisitorious, working for His Majesty to bring the enemies of the Empire to justice and see peace among the stars?" If Thanatos replied in the affirmative, the High Inquisitor would throw a rather plain lightsaber down on the floor before him; a crimson crystal the coloring of the blade. "Rise, Inquisitor Thanatos. You have been reborn." Thanatos was free to leave the Citadel now, albeit he'd be tracked and watched for some time to come.

| As the door opened to the cell, Kal's eyes would just move up to the figure. He wouldn't move as this one was different than the ones that had been torturing him. He began to ask him several questions, mainly him agreeing to serve the Empire and renounce any ways he had before. His head looked up at the man, and gave him a simple response, "Yes..." As the man would have tossed a lightsaber down towards the floor before him, it would have froze just inches above the ground. His hand would outstretch and grab a hold of it. Kal slowly rose to his feet with a new title, Inquisitor. He nodded to the man before moving past him. All he had was the dark robe that he had been given and the undergarments that he had on. He held the lightsaber in his right hand while holding the robe closed so he wouldn't end up flashing anyone. Now he needed to find a way off of the Citadel and get back to Coruscant. There, all of his belongings were aboard his ship. While on Coruscant, he would begin his life as an Inquisitor.

| Thanatos had free use of any of the ships available at the Citadel for transport, largely shuttles. His own ship was another matter though. As it had been publically registered to the former Jedi, the Imperial authorities had likely siezed it as evidence, going over it with a fine-toothed comb. Any items within, sensative or not, would have been destroyed or saved as evidence, down to any encrypted files on any computer systems. If he did return and petition to get his vessel back, it would be a sterile vessel, wiped clean of anything linking it to the Kal Thanatos that had once been a Jedi.

| Having been told by one of his fellow Inquisitors, once they recognized the fact that he was now one of them, that the shuttles on the Citadel were there for their use, he would quickly head off to get a hold of one for his transport back to Coruscant. First, he wanted to find the Inquisitor that brought him in, and secondly he wanted to find a way to secretly contact Lana to inform her that he was in fact alive and well. Once upon the shuttle, Kal quickly ignited the engines and launched off from the Citadel. Having a good idea of the location of the planet and having a star map on board helped the fact that he wanted to find the quickest way back. He punched in the coordinates and flew off for orbit so he would be able to make a small jump back to Coruscant.
