The holographic image of a reporter would appear to those who were tuned in to the broadcast.

"This is Rachel Invern reporting for VNN. We are just receiving word that the Vjun spacers which were apprehended earlier this year on charges of smuggling have just been convicted by a jury and sentenced to 9 months in a correctional facility on Volus for the violation of the law passed by the prefecture earlier. These are the first convictions by the new law and the light sentence was handed down by the judge after hearing arguments for both sides of the case. The defendants, whose representation was paid for by Volus put forth that they were ignorant of the new Volusian Law.

King Motour recently weighed in on some of the controversy surrounding this law saying that it was the right of planets to regulate what was within their space. Also continuing on that Volus has done nothing wrong and that further responding to childish attacks would only serve to give them an undeserved credibility. It is for that reason Volus has seemingly held its tongue in past months, ignoring the flamboyant and often times offensive rhetoric weighed against it.

We will continue to keep the public updated about these events, but for further updates you can access our daily broadcasts straight from your comm device.Once again I am Rachel Invern reporting for VNN."
