The Engager was a crippled ship. The Imperials might well see this day that their Star Destroyers were far from invulnerable as the shield generator did indeed explode quite catastrophically, allowing any remaining warheads to impact directly on the superstructure. The Catalyst as well had suffered major damage. With the number of fires along its length and the way it moved; it seemed likely the ship would need to be scrapped rather than repaired. Unfortunately for Shiva, his mission was hardly a success. His group had failed to achieve the objective of capturing an interdictor-type vessel. Luckily, being so close to the jump point, albeit hounded by TIEs who had responded, the remainder of the Red Mynock pirates escaped with little more than some laser burns on their vessels and the loss of the Pinook and its pilot. The brief skirmish at Kamino was over.
