Kuantar was a hole-in-the-wall sort of place; left alone by many, but a solitary company held an operation of sort there, and a lucrative operation it was. The Loyalist Gas Mining Corporation, or LGMC for short, had a number of refineries likely in a structure that was smaller than, if not akin to, Cloud City, famous on Bespin. The Tibanna gas though, was a valuable item. Valuable enough to try and steal if possible and certainly worth investigating if nothing else. It was to this end that Lim Hejin had sent Keji Genkai along with two of his other pilots to investigate the LGMC's setup.

Genkai operated Hejin's Theta shuttle with a man in the rear turret; one of the ship's gunners, and the pair of pilots flew nearly identical Y-TIE starfighters. All three ships had been dropped far out beyond sensor range by the Stars of Arcadia and now they flew towards the gas giant to try and estimate defenses. If hailed, they would likely try to fake their way out of any issues. Of course, if it came down to a fight, they were ready for that too.

The LGMC facility reminded Genkai of Cloud City on Bespin in some ways; albeit far smaller an operation. Oddly, but perhaps for the best, there was no sign of Imperial forces. So far, the three vessels had not been hailed either, leading Genkai to believe that the LGMC provided some sort of internal security. It meant that, should the raid commence, the combat might well be far easier than against Imperial forces. Perhaps they'd been lucky and simply not been spotted. The recon mission was complete, then. Wheeling the formation about, the trio of snub-craft headed out towards the edges of the system. The area seemed ripe for the picking and Hejin would be able to analyze the sensor and image data to pick the best point of attack. The valuable Tibanna gas would fetch a good price with Njon Anjiliac, and the LGMC... well, they could make up their profits another day.

"So, what's the deal?"

"It's a Baas-class. Probably modified to carry some sort of weaponry and it likely has a few snubfighters inside it as well. Nothing we can't handle."

Hejin had the helm as they prepared to jump. Various pilots sat in the varied ships attached to the Stars of Arcadia's hull. The pair of Y-TIEs were manned and prepped, and Genkai had been replaced at the Theta's helm by another man. Genkai was now at the main controls of the ARC-170 with a gunner behind him. Last, but not least, the ATR-6 was prepped and ready to latch on to the station. Hejin's computer and communications whiz, Trigger, had been monitoring the station and no radio or Holonet transmissions had been detected. With all in readiness, it was time to move.

Quick as a flash, the ship microjumped, already beginning to spin up its hyperdrive once it emerged, the jammer coming online so as to block long-range transmissions from the station. The ship itself was still some distance away, of course, and out of cannon range.

"Space station, stand down and surrender your cargo and you will not be harmed. This is your only warning."

Out here, alone, with all communications blocked, the station had little to choice but to comply with the demands, what with so many guns staring them in the face. The station likely sported fifty or under security troops, or perhaps a few over fifty. Nonetheless, internal security meant little when a pair of Y-TIEs and an ARC-170 were buzzing about a station with downed shields. If it did indeed have a fighter compliment, or weapons, it left them alone, at least for now. It was a wise decision on the part of the civilians.

While droids from the refinery loaded massive containers of Tibanna gas aboard the vessel, Hejin sighed, pleased. It was always a good day when he was able to make a catch without actually killing anyone. Eventually, perhaps forty-five minutes later, all the gas he could hold was loaded; a small fraction of what the station could produce, but quite enough to keep Hejin, his crew and his ship taken care of with plenty to spare, if Njon was in a good mood, that was.

Bidding the miners a farewell over the comm, he turned and headed outsystem.
